WORKSHOP SATURDAY!!
To encourage thoughtful consideration of Native American cultures and people and their art forms, MoTTU will sponsor an afternoon of activities that are family-friendly.
The film won several awards at the Sundance Film Festival, First Americans in the Arts, and the Taos Talking Picture Festival. The film begins at 1pm in the Helen DeVitt Jones Auditorium and has a running time of about an hour and a half.
Also, workshop participants may engage in making paper re-creations of baskets and pottery from 1-4pm in the Museum’s New Assembly Room (As seen below).
Museum admission and parking, as well as the film and program admission, is free.
